Quotes
Create a job, add or edit line items, then send your customer a single link (or PDF). They can view the quote, accept it, and pay a deposit if you’ve set one. Here’s how the flow works and what to do if something doesn’t look right.
Quick fixes
- Create a job first (Jobs → New job), then add a quote from that job’s page.
- Edit line items in the quote editor: change description, quantity, unit, and price before sending.
- Send the quote link from the job’s quote section; your customer opens it in any browser—no app required.
- You can also download or send a PDF from the quote screen if you prefer.
- Acceptance: when the customer accepts, you’ll see the status update in the app; you can then send deposit or balance links if enabled.
Step-by-step
- In the app, go to Jobs and create a new job (or open an existing one).
- Open the quote section for that job and add or edit line items (description, quantity, unit, price).
- When the quote is ready, use “Send quote” to generate a link. Copy the link or send it by email/SMS to your customer.
- Your customer opens the link, reviews the quote, and can accept (and pay deposit if you’ve set one).
- You’ll see “Accepted” (and payment status if applicable) in the job; from there you can send balance links or continue to invoicing.
